This Privacy Policy explains how Pivot Tag LLC (“Pivot Tag,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Pivot Tag service. It covers the whole service, including the dealer dashboard, the customer report pages, and text-message alerts.

Information we collect

• Dealer account information — the business name, email address, phone number, and contact details a dealer provides to create and run their account.
• Report information — details a customer voluntarily submits when reporting an equipment problem, such as the machine, the symptoms, notes, and a callback name and phone number.
• Recipient contact information — the mobile numbers and email addresses a dealer adds for staff and technicians who opt in to receive alerts.
• Usage and technical information — basic technical data needed to operate and secure the service (for example, log and device information).

How we use information

We use information to operate and improve the service: to route equipment reports to the right dealer, to send text and email alerts, to display machine and contact details, to process subscription payments, to provide support, and to keep the service secure. Reports and contact details a dealer collects are used to provide the service to that dealer.

How information is shared

We do not sell your information. We share information only with service providers that help us run Pivot Tag, and only as needed for them to do so:

• Supabase — secure database and hosting.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payments.
• Twilio — sending text-message alerts.
• Resend — sending email alerts.

We may also disclose information if required by law. A dealer’s data is kept separate and is not shared with other dealers.

Text messaging (SMS)

Recipients opt in to receive alerts. Message frequency varies with how often problems are reported. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile numbers are used only to operate the alert program.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as an account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may delete data after an account is closed following a reasonable period.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices & rights

Recipients can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. Dealers can update their information in their settings. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information, email us at the address below, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Children’s privacy

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
